The woman's face looks a little lopsided, I think...

But otherwise, this is beautiful!

Great job with this. Really impressed with the shading and loving the emotion on the woman's face

I know I've already commented on this picture when you first posted it, but I was just running through some film noir pictures on deviant art and I stumbled across this again. I still cannot get over this piece. Although I haven't watched many film noir movies I've always loved the time period, aesthetic and drama of the genre. The emotion in the woman's face, the beautiful lighting and the ever so subtle hint of color speaks to me every time I see this piece. I simply love it.

Amazingly Beautiful.
The woman does creep me out a little, though....I can't tell why.

I like this, her face just has that look on it! And this is a perfect example of how tricky shadows and highlights can be at night time, something I have yet to master, haha

Egads, that womans face is beautifully done, the lighting and everything else is perfect, but the emotion in her eyes, and just the realism of it. Splendid.

fantastic painting. the amount of realism is drawning.
it has a sense of suspense-romance into it.
and for some reason it feels like a scene that could fit very well in "V" for Vendetta

Wow... this looks similar to the characters in my "Sin-City Walker" series of short stories. Love the composition and the shading! It is very much 'noir' in execution.

Thanks for sharing! (Might I ask if it's possible, when I get some of my SCW stories ready for publication, that I can ask to use this for one of the book covers?)

That is a beautiful painting, very realistic. The light reflecting off of their skin is perfect. Excellent work, really.
